GIRLS from the Plymouth Argyle Advanced Development Centre finished just two points behind Premier League outfit AFC Bournemouth in a recent tournament staged at Yeovil Town.

The final table was harsh on the hosts who battled valiantly through the age groups, but a terrific achievement from the Pilgrim girls, as we finished just two points behind Bournemouth in games played across four age groups.

The tournament was attended by stars from Yeovil Town Ladies, Steph Beck and Welsh international Nicola Cousins, who also showed off the Women’s Super League 2 Trophy won by Yeovil last season.

A full list of results is included below and to find out more about opportunities for female footballers, please contact our PL Girls Officer Bow Jackson on or call 01752 562561 ext.4
