THE latest round of fixtures for girls in the Plymouth Argyle Advanced Development Centre took us to Brentford Football Club for a three-team tournament that also included Peterborough United.

Once again, it was a fantastic experience for the girls and some really positive results from the day highlights the progress we are making in developing genuinely talented players in the female game.

Outstanding results for girls in the under-10 and under-12 age groups saw us record four comprehensive victories, scoring a total of 25 goals and conceding just twice in the four games.

A slightly tougher day for our under-14s saw us narrowly lose the two games but the one match for the under-16s ended in a 3-0 victory over a strong Peterborough United outfit.

Great day enjoyed by all and for more information on the girls football programme, please contact PL Girls Officer Bow Jackson on or call 01752 562561 ext.4
