AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Our challenge is to provide the local community with the opportunity to explore their full potential; improve their life chances and increase their future choices and aspirations. By focusing on the following, we hope to improve lives and sustain participation for everyone:
- Football & Sports Participation – to inspire and raise aspirations enabling continued participation, supporting physical, educational and personal development to create a more active and healthier way of life
- Health – to help overcome physical and mental health by using the vehicle of football as a support mechanism
- Education – to help people achieve their goals by delivering quality, innovative services through the realm of sport
- Inclusion – to help people achieve and have opportunities through the power of the football club
Our objectives are to build productive partnerships between the Football Club and local community, support local people by providing access to a wide range of both physical and human resources; to develop a positive attitude within people and their families, and a commitment to lifelong learning as well as nurturing self respect and respect for other individuals avoiding prejudice and discrimination in the treatment of others.
Staff and Volunteers
Staff and Volunteers are an important resource in our community work. All staff and volunteers working with projects involving children or other vulnerable groups are DBS checked.
