Women and Girls’ Football

ARGYLE Community Trust oversees Plymouth Argyle Ladies FC. The club is run independently through its own committee and support staff.

Argyle Ladies currently run two teams and have 33 players registered. The First Team are managed by Dave Leonard and currently play in the fourth tier of women’s football, the F.A. Women’s Premier League South West Division One. The newly formed Reserves Team play in the Devon Women’s League Premier Division and are managed by Rob Bonney.

Both teams are currently riding high in their respective division and are well placed to achieve promotion this season.

The Ladies have strong links with our Advanced Girls Development Centre run at Ivybridge Community College and also Devon F.A.’s Girls’ Centre of Excellence.

Plymouth Argyle FC is fully supportive of the club and their ambitions to become a Women’s Super league team. Both Argyle Community Trust and the club contribute significant amount of funding and support to help the Ladies’ teams sustain their running costs.

Please visit the dedicated Ladies team website for more information.
