Argyle Community Trust deliver a school’s football programme during enrichment week or School Sports Week. The week generally involves four days of football coaching, incorporating small-sided games, competitions, skills development and fun-based games. The sessions are based at school and on one of the days the group visit Home Park where they have the opportunity to tour the ground, undertake a coaching session and participate within the games area of the family stand.

In addition, we also run one and two day programmes based around football writing and sports media. Students can experience a day preparing for and participating in a club press conference or writing articles and reports for a match-day programme. They will visit the stadium and use IT equipment to film, photograph and produce quality football media products.

In School Coaching:
Argyle Community Trust can provide coaches for extra-curricular activities, breakfast and lunch-time clubs, inter-schools tournaments and also PE sessions. The Trust’s coaches can also deliver recreational sessions for well behaved students or people who would just like to participate in structured football sessions.

Gifted and Talented:
We identify a number of gifted and talented football players within the college and give them the opportunity to have enhanced coaching sessions with Plymouth Argyle FC. Each participant will have a number of reviews throughout the year and will work under the guidance of the club’s academy syllabus.

Each player will have the opportunity to attend development days at Plymouth Argyle to continue their progression. Argyle Community Trust will provide a UEFA qualified coach.

Argyle Community Trust is the official charity partner of Plymouth Argyle Football Club and helps over 30,000 people every year achieve their goals through sport. The trust supports some of the most disadvantaged, disabled and talented people across Devon and Cornwall.
