EUROPEAN SKILLS TRAINING
THIS programme runs in conjunction with the Tellus Group and delivers work place skills to groups of students from within the European Union.
Funded through ESF, students complete work experience tasks at the Pilgrim Centre whilst learning about specific career skills. These include: IT, Electronics, Business Administration, Accountancy, Marketing and Hospitality. Groups attend for between two and four weeks and also follow a programme which supports their English language development.
Work Experience Plymouth
Throughout our time working with European students, we have also worked with Job Centre Plus, giving unemployed young people in Plymouth the opportunity to experience work as Mentors. This involves a mix of helping European students with their English language skills and multi-media work, such as photography and filming. If you are unemployed and interested, please talk to your job centre advisor, or contact email@example.com
If you are an overseas browser you can find more information about the opportuunities available from the Tellus group here.
