Premier League Kicks – Targeted Youth Mentor

Argyle Community Trust (ACT) is looking to recruit a Targeted Youth Mentor to plan, coordinate and deliver a bespoke mentoring programme as part of their Children in Need funded programme, an added element of the Premier League Kicks Programme. Working with key local partners such as Devon and Cornwall Police and Plymouth Youth Offending Team, the post holder will be integrated into localised partnerships and will be responsible for managing up to twelve cases at a time, traditionally over a year-long period. Sports Tutor (Cornwall)

The position will be based at Carn Brea Leisure Centre in Redruth, Cornwall; The role as Sports Tutor will be to deliver BTEC’s, along with vocationally related qualifications and NVQs in Sport. Tutors will teach the qualification as part of the Education & Football Development Programme for students aged 16-18 years. The tutor will also be a member of the coaching team helping young players enrolled on the programme develop and apply the knowledge they develop in the classroom to practice team sports. The full job advert can be found below. Salary £20k. Training & Skills Coach (Cornwall)

The position will be based at Carn Brea Leisure Centre in Redruth, as well as some other areas within Cornwall; The role as Training & Skills Coach will be to deliver vocationally related qualifications and apprenticeships in Sport. The tutor will also be a member of the Education & Football Development Programme coaching team helping young players enrolled on the programme develop and apply the knowledge they develop in the classroom to practice team sports. The role involves working with learners in a group and/or one-to-one basis, delivering all aspects of the qualifications in a variety of subjects and levels. The full job advert can be found below. Salary £18-20k.
