Manadon Sports Hub Caretaker

Argyle Community Trust are looking to appoint a hard-working, honest, dependable, self-motivated person to act as Manadon Sports Hub Caretaker.

We are seeking a Caretaker to work alongside our Facilities Manager on ensuring the security, safety, warmth and cleanliness of the sports hub premises, including maintenance of the site.

The post is full-time and is offered on a 12 month fixed-term contract

Reports to: Manadon Facilities Manager
Salary: £18,000
Contract term: Full time, 12 month fixed term contract
Hours of work: 40 hours

Disability Officer

Argyle Community Trust are looking to recruit a Disability Officer to primarily deliver a number of exciting new and existing projects through the brand of Plymouth Argyle Community Trust.

The main focus will be to develop disability programmes within the vicinity of Devon and Cornwall using the branding of the football club to engage with some of the most hard to reach groups and those whom may not have had the opportunity to be involved within a professional football club.

The post holder will deliver sport specific and fundamental coaching within disability projects in ability counts, school settings and extended community provisions.

The post is full-time and is offered on a 12 month fixed-term contract

Hours: 40 hours per week; evening and weekend work are a requirement of the post
Salary: £18,000 – £20,000 per annum (12 month fixed term contract)

Finance and Admin Assistant

The candidate will join the very successful team at Argyle Community Trust and will work with the Office and Finance Manager to deliver an excellent support service to Trust internal staff, external customers and stakeholders.

We are looking for a finance and administration assistant to work at our office in Plymouth who has excellent customer service skills and is outcome oriented. The ability to work in a fast paced, diverse environment is essential and candidates with some knowledge of using Sage accounting and payroll software along with the full suite of Office software would be preferred.

The post is full-time and is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract in the first instance.

Girls Officer

Argyle Community Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, charismatic and dedicated individual to organise and deliver a Girl’s Football Development programme.

The position will be based across Devon and Cornwall, the candidate will be expected to work evenings and weekends and have an understanding of young people’s needs and barriers to participation. A key requisite for the position will be a candidate that can implement plans to increase female participation across our core offering within Argyle Community Trust and to broaden our offering for girls across Devon and Cornwall.

The post is full-time and is offered on a 12 month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension subject to future funding.

Strategic Lead for Female Participation

Argyle Community Trust is seeking to appoint a Strategic Lead for Female Participation. The position will be based across Devon and Cornwall, the candidate will be expected to work some evenings and weekends and have an understanding of young people’s needs and barriers to participation.

A key requisite to the position will be a candidate that can develop a strategic plan that can be implemented across Argyle Community Trust to enable access to all of our provisions for females; this will also include increasing provisions and activities across the two counties. Working closely with key partners across Devon and Cornwall the post holder will implement plans to increase female participation across our core offering within Argyle Community Trust and to broaden our offering for girls across Devon and Cornwall.

The post is full-time and is offered on a 12 month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension subject to future funding.

Salary: £24,000 – £26,000

Premier League Kicks Officer

Argyle Community Trust (ACT) is looking to recruit a Project Officer to promote, recruit for and deliver the Premier League Kicks programme.

The main focus will be to develop estate-based inclusive sports programmes across both Plymouth and Cornwall using the football clubs brand to interact with some of the most disengaged communities in the south west. Through Premier League Kicks; the post holder will play a powerful role in young people’s lives by using football and multi-sport to promote personal development. Sessions will be planned and delivered as a means of discouraging young people from anti-social behaviour, whilst promoting stronger, more respectful communities.

An important part of the role will be to manage and sustain important programme partnerships with organisations such as Devon & Cornwall Police, Plymouth Youth Service, Livewell South West & many more.
