Helping young people overcome barriers

ARGYLE Community Trust has tremendous experience in working with children with disabilities, helping them to overcome the barriers they face in daily life.

We aspire to provide equal opportunities in sport for all children, helping to raise aspirations and confidence among children with disabilities. From participating in football and sport, children with disabilities are shown to develop and mature physically, socially and emotionally.

The younger age bracket is an essential time for an individual to discover their athletic prowess and our knowledge of coaching in this sector can prove to be a valuable asset to their development.

Learning through sport

We have the capacity to visit SEN schools and deliver coaching in a whole range of sports. These can  help young people to enhance their:

  • Agility
  • Balance
  • Co-ordination.
  • Social skills
