Argyle Community Trust teams up with Rounded!

Argyle Community Trust are thrilled to announce a new partnership with the design-led football brand Rounded! The collaboration aims to encourage young girls to get involved with football and create opportunities for girls who don’t play already.

Rounded is a stylish football gifting business that provides design-led footballs and sports accessories that combine personality and performance. Since its launch in January, Rounded has set out to inspire, encourage, and motivate young girls to break down the barriers they may face when getting involved in football.

Founder Kate said: “Rounded’s mission at the grassroots level is to help more girls get into football, feel confident stepping onto the pitch and celebrate the positive values that football builds, of which they can take back into their everyday lives.

“The Trust’s work in the community is making a real positive impact and I’m proud that Rounded can play a part in supporting that.”

While empowering young girls within football is key, Rounded’s mission also extends to providing an entry point for women who may not be involved in football already. Whether young girls face barriers to starting their football journey or not having the confidence, rounded footballs connect all women throughout the game and encourage all footballers to get involved in the sport.

Speaking on the partnership Dwain Morgan, Head of Business Development at the Trust said: “We’re very excited by this new partnership with Rounded. Inspiring more girls to become involved in football is very important to us at the Trust and we would love to see as many people get involved in the sport as possible.

“We would like to thank Kate for giving us the opportunity to work with them.”

As part of the partnership, Rounded will be gifting a football to the few chosen ‘Female Players of the Month’, within Argyle Community Trust. This will go to female players who are demonstrating exceptional growth within their time at Argyle or have overcome their own barriers in beginning their football journey, inspiring other young girls around them.
