Practice Plus Group raise £2,753.41 for Argyle Community Trust in 2025

The team at Plymouth based private healthcare providers Practice Plus have raised £2,753.41 for Project 35, Argyle’s social impact project in partnership with Ginsters, having chosen Argyle Community Trust as their charity partners for 2025.

Practice Plus and its people have been instrumental in their support for our social impact initiative through a range of fundraising activities including, an Easter egg hunt, charity bike ride, Christmas fayre, and charity auction, all adding to the incredible amount donated to those in need across the region.

Monies raised will go towards supporting the Manadon Community Food Larder for residents experiencing food insecurity, or a food crisis.

Dwain Morgan, Head of Business Development at Argyle Community Trust, said: “We are incredibly grateful to the team at Plymouth Practice Plus Group for their fundraising support. To raise such a significant amount of money towards Project 35 is a great effort and testament to their passion for supporting local causes.

“We help 30 to 40 people every week at our food larder and this money will ultimately distribute more food hampers to those in need. Thank you, Practice Plus Group for your amazing efforts.”

Sarah Fell, Hospital Director from PPG Plymouth said: “Project 35 was a powerful reminder of the difference we can make when we come together for our local community. Supporting the initiative gave PPG the chance to play a small part in tackling food poverty here in Plymouth, and it was incredibly worthwhile to know that our efforts helped ease the pressure for local families. Giving back isn’t just important—it’s something we’re proud to continue championing.”

Project 35 aims to not just raise awareness, but to take action. We are grateful for the financial contribution, time, energy and goodwill that underpinned Practice Plus Group’s efforts. Their continued contribution and support have made a meaningful impact to our work and will directly help us to continue our project delivery.

Project 35 is our community social impact project for Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall, aimed at reducing poverty through a campaign of fundraising, donations, and social outreach.

The Project’s titular number, 35, represents the percentage of children in Plymouth reported to be living in poverty in certain wards of our city, according to pre-pandemic data.
