Inclusive and friendly male and female fitness sessions in Whitleigh, Honicknowle, and Devonport.

An exciting new programme from Sport England, funded by the National Lottery, and delivered by the Football Foundation will support communities in Plymouth to become more active. The Active Through Football project aims to increase physical activity levels amongst males and females aged 18+, in various areas across Plymouth who face the greatest barriers in becoming physically active.

The project, which started in 2022, will be delivered over five years in areas including Whitleigh, Honicknowle, Devonport and Stonehouse. Our male sessions consist of small sided recreational football, whereas our female sessions are delivered via two different styles – fitness classes and Mum’s stay & play fitness sessions.  We also have a female social football session for women across Plymouth to get involved in.
