Argyle’s Sky Bet League One match against Luton Town on Saturday, 24 January has been selected as the tenth dedicated fixture for Project 35, our award-winning social impact project in partnership with Ginsters.
We are putting out a call to The Green Army and our communities. If you have the means, we encourage you to bring items of in-date, non-perishable food, and hygiene products to Home Park. All donations will go towards Project 35 and supporting those most vulnerable through our own Manadon Food Larder, and the wider food bank network.
From 9:30am until the early kick off at 12:30pm, we will be collecting items outside the Babcock Devonport End in the pink Project 35 gazebo. Pledge 35 volunteers, Ginsters staff, and Trust staff will be on hand to support donations and chat about the aims of the project.
As well as the usual matchday collection, The Hub at Foulston Park, Devonport is now a dedicated collection point for donations for those who cannot attend the match at Home Park. Drop your donations to one of the team in the café on the first floor.
This comes at an exciting time for the Hub at Foulston Park. The café will soon be rebranded, as an extension to the partnership with Project 35 Principal Partner Ginsters, and will continue to be open to all in the heart of Devonport. We are pleased to invite members of the public to attend our opening on Friday, 23 January. The café will provide further support for Project 35, including featuring a year-round food donation point.
Your support at dedicated match days has been incredible, with the last match day bringing in 1.2 tonnes of food and £2,482.50 in donations.
Donations can be made in physical form or through the dedicated JustGiving page – Project 35 – JustGiving
