A programme which links to the core Premier League Kicks programme, ‘Breaking the Cycle’ is a one-to-one targeted mentoring programme which is funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund and Children in Need. Locally, Devon and Cornwall Police is our key referral partner.
The programme targets 11-16 year old young people who are at risk of becoming young offenders and have suffered from adverse childhood experiences. Our lead targeted youth mentor, Kadus, works with mentees providing regular contact and engagement as well as developing individual development plans that help build pathways for young people who face additional challenges in their development.
Argyle Community Trust is extremely proud to be a part of this new and exciting provision and hope to remain part of the local youth working framework for a long time to come.
