Contract: Permanent position, part-time
Hours: 20 hours per week
Reports to: Operations Manager
Argyle Community Trust are seeking a skilled and dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team at Manadon Sports Hub, a multi-sport venue with grass football pitches, a cricket pitch and square, and a full-size 3G football pitch.
The role requires expertise in maintaining sports surfaces to a high standard, ensuring safety, playability, and aesthetics for users. This part-time position is ideal for an individual with a passion for sports turf maintenance, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
You should be self-motivated with the ability to act on your own initiative or work as part of a team. You should also have good interpersonal skills for dealing with members of the public along with a commitment to customer care.
As a competent groundsman, there will be a requirement to carry out routine operator maintenance of a range of grounds maintenance plant and equipment, as well as complying with all Health and safety regulations and follow risk assessments relating to the work you are carrying out.
