We are delighted to have entered into a new partnership with Yeomans Citroën.
‘Powered By Yeomans’ is a new initiative that seeks to support local charities with their vital work for their communities.
Yeomans Citroën has provided The Trust with two brand-new electric Citroën e-Berlingo vans, which will be used for our Project 35, in partnership with Ginsters, activations.
These vans have been branded with the Trust’s and Project 35’s logos and will be spending the next 12 months helping to continue the amazing work provided by our staff Pledge 35 volunteers.
Speaking on the new partnership with Yeomans, Argyle Community Trust’s Project 35 Lead, Trevor Higgins, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Yeomans for supplying us with not one, but two vans, which will make a massive difference in our delivery.
“They’ll do a fantastic job in getting stock around the city two or three times a week. It’s absolutely key to get the message out there, and they’ll get used so often – what better way to raise awareness than having a Project 35, in partnership with Ginsters, branded van!”
Head of Business Development, Dwain Morgan, added: “Argyle Community Trust launched Project 35, in partnership with Ginsters, just over three years ago when we became aware that 35% of children across our city experience daily poverty.
“The biggest project the vans will get will be in the six-week holidays, which will put some serious miles on them.
“We run a project called Holiday Hunger, and we see around 3,000-3,500 children during this period. We distribute somewhere between 800-900 lunches a week, and the vans will be busy every Thursday and Friday during the holidays, bringing out fresh, nutritious, healthy, hot meals to children during the six-week period who are struggling.
“It’s going to really increase our output massively. The more miles we put in, the bigger the impact we have, so this new partnership is going to be crucial to us.
“In the first few years of Project 35, in partnership with Ginsters, we’ve distributed over 100,000 lunches to local families who are struggling, and with the help of Yeomans, we’re going to trump that massively.
“We’d like to say thank you again to Yeomans Citroën for their support, it’s going to make a massive impact across our community.”

James Gillam, Local Business Manager at Yeomans Citroën said: “Project 35 is rooted in Plymouth life. It’s a big part of Plymouth Argyle, and when you think of Argyle Community Trust, you think of Project 35 – the two go hand-in-hand.
“I think the vans we’ve provided will make a massive difference, whether it’s transporting food parcels or picking up things for the community hubs, and just being able to do more great work around the city.
“It’s really good to be involved in a project like this. For us, we share the same neighbours, and The Hub at Foulston Park is two minutes away from our dealership. We like to think we’re a recognisable brand and getting involved goes hand-in-hand, so why shouldn’t we support our local community?
“What I’ve learnt over the past week is that Project 35, in partnership with Ginsters, is not just about food poverty. It’s social poverty, learning poverty, and in 2025, how does that happen?
“The Trust are working with their local community and for their local community to try and offer some solutions.
Tony Lippe, Yeomans Operations Director for the South West, added: “We’re proud to partner with Argyle Community Trust, providing them with our electric Citroën e-Berlingo vans.
“Whether it’s delivering food parcels, helping people get where they need to be, or simply making life a little bit easier, we’re there to power their journeys.”
We would like to thank Yeomans for their generous donation of the two vans and we look forward to working together to continue the fight against food poverty in Plymouth, Cornwall, and Devon.
