ARGYLE Community Trust would like to congratulate the girls from Bodmin College after they finished third in the Regional Girls Community Cup Finals.
Representing Plymouth Argyle in the tournament staged at Exeter City, the Bodmin Girls only lost once after seven highly competitive games.
The sequence started with a battling 0-0 draw against Yeovil before we defeated Cardiff City 2-1. Eventual champions Swindon scraped to a 1-0 win over the girls and this was followed by a goalless draw with Newport.
The girls won the Devon derby against Exeter 2-1, then drew 0-0 with Bristol Rovers and completed a tremendous experience with a 1-0 victory over Bristol City.
