Argyle Community Trust are delighted to be working in partnership with Plymouth City Council to deliver the Fit & Fed project again this Easter across Six different venues in Plymouth including school venues which include: Laria Green Primary School, Prince Rock Primary School, Lipson Vale Primary School and Weston Mill Primary School alongside central locations at Manadon Sports & Community Hub and the new Central Park Hub near Home Park!
The Trust will be hosting a series of events over the two-week Easter holidays where children who are eligible for free school meals will be able to join us to be active, to make new friends and be given a healthy lunch to go with the day!
The Fit and Fed project is being funded by the department for education with an emphasis on children eating more healthily and being more active with half terms! Over the past year children have been through a lot with schools being closed for a long duration of time and children being isolated away from friends and family for long periods of time. This project provides children with the perfect opportunity to reconnect with others and enjoy the great outdoors and engage in social and physical activities.
Why not come and join us this Easter with to join in with the fun within the Easter Holiday’s! All children attending will need to qualify for FREE school meals or qualify for Pupil Premium funding.
If your child is eligible and you would like to book your child onto the course for FREE please visit – https://argylecommunitytrust.co.uk/soccer-roadshows/in-plymouth/
