THE Plymouth Argyle Football Education programme based at King Edward VI Community College (KEVICC) in Totnes has just a few places remaining for the September intake.

If you’re still wondering which path to take after completing your GCSEs, get in contact with us and explore the option of a specific programme designed to enhance your football skills, while also providing you with a BTEC qualification that can lead to higher education or future employment.

You will train with our team of UEFA-qualified coaches, many of whom have played professional football, and compete against teams from across the country, which has included the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea this season.

Students will also be give opportunities to join the Plymouth Argyle Peninsula League team, playing alongside first-team professionals and Academy scholars, as well as involvement in the Peninsula Under-21 League.

We are looking for young players of school-leaving age with a passion to play football at a high level to take academic studies under the guidance of Plymouth Argyle, whilst at the same time honing their footballing talents.

The programme sees 16-18 years olds participate in a number of academic studies alongside a football scholarship run by Plymouth Argyle. The programme is designed to give people excellent academic qualifications that can take them into universities, overseas universities, employment and work places.

In addition to this, the programme provides talented and enthusiastic youngsters with the opportunity to train and play as a football scholar in tandem with their academic studies.

Previous scholars have progressed into the professional game, climbed the football pyramid and also gone overseas, whilst others have improved on their football ability and continue to play at a high standard in local football.
