ARGYLE Community Trust is looking to recruit a Post 16 Lead Football Coach based in Cornwall. The position is working with Argyle Community Trust focusing on our Post 16 Football provision based within Cornwall.  

The position will be based at Carn Brea Leisure Centre, however, at times; you will need to work outside the boundary dependent on the demands of the games and training programmes.

As a registered charity, the Community Trust works, in close conjunction with Plymouth Argyle Football Club, with many people across several sectors where sport has proven to be the ideal tool for creating lasting education and engagement with individuals.

The candidate will provide quality coaching and learning for our Football and Futsal Development Post 16 programme. The role will require delivery on practical elements of the course and will include regular liaison with parents and guardians of the students on the course as well as the relevant departments within the Football Club.

This position also encompasses the recruitment of future students, attendance at training days and meetings set up by any partner organisations related to this programme.

There is also an expectation that the Lead Football Coach will be qualified to a minimum of FA Level 2 or equivalent and have played at a high standard.

The post is part-time and is offered on a 12 month fixed-term contract
