THE Match Day Magic promotion is up and running again this season with the majority of games already fully booked.
The programme is aimed at bringing schools, youth football clubs and other youth organisations to experience a match day at Home Park, and is now in its 18th season with the popular format unchanged in that time.
Groups of up to 120 persons, which includes the children, school and club officials, parents and siblings, can be accommodated.
1). A welcome and talk on the history of club.
2). Stadium tour to include VIP lounges, Directors Box, Boardroom, dressing rooms and tunnel to pitch side.
3). Coaching session for the children conducted by Argyle Community Trust’s fully qualified coaches.
4). Buffet lunch for everyone.
5). Match tickets in the award winning Family Stand. Activities here for the children to enjoy prior to the game and at half time.
This Saturdays game versus Yeovil Town will see the following visitors from all points of the South West: from North Devon we have Eastside Youth F.C. from Barnstaple and from South Devon, we welcome Stoke Gabriel Youth F.C. From west of the Tamar, we will be entertaining Rosesudgeon Youth FC from Penzance.
However, travelling the furthest are young players and officials from the Scilly Isles Youth FC. They will leave the Scillies on Friday and return on Monday due to the restricted travel facilities to and from the islands. A big welcome to everyone.
Hopefully, we can gain three more points to continue our good start to the season and send everyone home happy.
