PL Kicks Academy WebTHE PL Kicks Academy for 2016-17 has been launched with 18 squad players selected from the PL Kicks Satellite Centres in Devon and Cornwall (Tot Hill, Whitleigh, Honicknowle, Stonehouse and Redruth).

It is a huge credit to the chosen 18, who have advanced to the PL Kicks Academy as a reward for their consistent attendance and for displaying a superb attitude during Kicks sessions.

If these players can maintain their progress, the next stage will be representing their Satellite and Plymouth Argyle Football Club in regional competitions, as well as the annual PL Kicks Cup, where we compete against teams from Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and a whole lot more.

Studies have shown that local crime rates lowered by an incredible 70% during PL Kicks session times and Argyle Community Trust is proud to have engaged with thousands of young people aged 8-19 years since the project began in 2009.

PL Kicks sessions are completely free and the current programme is outlined below. For more information, please contact Community Cohesion Officer Dan Hart on dan.hart@pafc.co.uk
