THANKS to a partnership with @PLCommunities, the February half-term offered an exciting opportunity involving a PL Kicks tournament. The intention of the match was to involve young people aged 12-17 in a worthwhile competitive activity.

Back in 2006, the original motives for setting up PL Kicks were to employ football as a sport to help young kids, who were viewed as emotionally cut-off, in becoming more attached to their society and the community. Since then, over 245,000 young people have taken part in the Premier League Kicks.

During this event there were over 100 male and female participants from across Devon and Cornwall. By getting involved, there is a chance it will lead to the thrilling possibility of being selected for the National PL Kicks Cup. This will take place at some point in April, in Manchester.

This beneficial opportunity is made possible by a partnership with PL, D&C Police, Youth Service, Ginsters/Samworth Brothers. These remarkable services and companies have enabled young boys and girls to take part in the PL Kicks Inter-Satellite Tournament.
