Richard Luscombe THE summer of football roadshows is almost upon us and we have 93 courses covering 10 different themes and spread across venues in Devon and Cornwall.
Apart from the Tiny Tots for our youngest footballers, the courses are open to boys and girls of all abilities aged from 5 – 15, and run from 10am – 3pm.

Soccer Roadshows Our football roadshows are age and football specific, with the emphasis on fun, enjoyment and development. Sessions include skills, technique, competitions and small-sided games.
Match-Day Special Come and experience a day packed with all kinds of matches, from two-a-side competitions up to 7 v 7 games. The day is designed to improve each individual player’s game understanding and awareness.
Strikers and Goalkeepers Whether it’s putting the ball in the net or keeping it out, this football roadshow will improve your skills in both areas. This course is designed to encourage development in two vital areas of the pitch.
Train Like a Pro Spend a day training like a professional footballer, gain an understanding of their nutrition and, most importantly, get involved in a fun and competitive environment.
Tiny Tots Tiny Tots football sessions are aimed at 3 – 6 year-olds, experiencing their first taste of a structured coaching session. The sessions are staffed at a ratio of four coaches to 16 children. The emphasis is to improve the children’s listening and concentration skills, whilst working on balance and co-ordination. The children can develop in a safe and fun environment over the duration of the sessions.
Search for a Star Your opportunity to shine, this day is dedicated for young aspiring footballers who want to improve their football development. Activities will include technical development, game awareness, small-sided games, competitions and diet and nutrition advice. Players will be closely watched by our scouts and coaches.
Pan Disability Inclusive to children aged 5 – 16 years with any learning condition or disability. The days are aimed at engaging in fun football-related activities, building confidence and increasing social interaction.
Activities Day Come and join us for a fun-filled day Home Park, where you will have the opportunity to participate in a number of activities, including football, multi-sports, dodgeball, golf and the use of computers, as well as art, design and lots more based at the football club.
Start of Summer Party Come and join the Trust for a whole day of football activities and provisions to celebrate the summer holidays. Jam-packed with games, coaching sessions and competitions.
End of Summer Party Finish the summer with an action-packed day of football activities, from shooting sessions to World Cup tournaments. As an added incentive for the day, each participant will receive sweets and a trophy.
