A team consisting of Argyle Community Trust staff, Plymouth Argyle staff, and Trust supporters will be taking on the Plymouth Running Festival 10k on Sunday for our brand-new community social impact initiative – Project 35.
Project 35 aims to reduce poverty in Plymouth, through a comprehensive campaign of fundraising, awareness raising, social outreach, food donations, education, and charity support.
The team are raising funds and awareness for the groundbreaking project following its launch this month in partnership with Ginsters.
The race will start and finish at the Hoe Promenade and will take runners past some of Plymouth’s most iconic landmarks including Smeaton’s Tower and the Royal Citadel.
Matt White, Fundraising Officer for the Argyle Community Trust adds: “This promises to be a challenging event, but provides the perfect opportunity to raise money and awareness for Project 35.
I’d like to say thank you to our team and all of those who have donated and supported the project so far. There’s already a buzz of anticipation for Sunday and we can’t wait to represent the Trust.”
