Futsal has grown immeasurably in recent years, becoming a champion of the Brazilian approach to football, although this version of the game actually dates back to the suburbs of Uruguay in 1930.

The South American journey has now made its way to the Ocean City of Plymouth, where youngsters at Sir John Hunt Community Sports College are benefiting from an innovative new education programme designed to enhance football ability, while providing a BTEC qualification for progression to Higher Education and a career in sport.

Argyle Community Trust boasts a team of UEFA qualified coaches, delivering Futsal sessions of the highest quality at Sir John Hunt and the students also compete in the dedicated Argyle Satellite League.
