Magical Match-Day

IT’S match-day and Argyle Community Trust have maximum numbers for our Match-Day Magic extravaganza against MK Dons at Home Park.

Over many seasons, the maximum number the Trust could accommodate for each match-day was limited to 100 guests and this includes staff, club officials, children, parents, siblings and friends.

However, due to the popularity of this promotion, we have been able to increase the numbers to 170 this season and even at this early stage of the campaign, there are only a few games remaining with places for Schools and Youth Football clubs to take up the offer.

Groups visiting Home Park for today’s game are from various parts of the South West. Travelling from North Cornwall are the club members, children etc. from Week St.Mary Youth Football Club and they will be joined by similar groups from Kingsteignton in South Devon and local Plymouth club Elburton Villa.

The day here at Plymouth Argyle will commence at 10am and after a welcome and a short talk on the history of the club, the groups will be separated for a stadium tour and then a coaching session for the children conducted by the Trust’s fully-qualified coaches, which takes place in the superb facilities of the adjacent Life Centre.

A buffet lunch then follows for everyone, after which the groups are escorted to our award-winning Family Stand to watch the game, where we have activities for the children to enjoy prior to the match and at half-time.

Hopefully, when the final whistle arrives, we are all celebrating three points for the lads in Green and a thoroughly enjoyable day here at Home Park.
