Pedal 4 Pounds 8THE New Year can bring new opportunities for fitness, health, life-experiences and making a massive contribution to your local community.

The annual Pedal 4 Pounds charity bike ride is aiming to break the fantastic 2016 record of raising £18,000 for good causes, as we explore a new route through the south of England.

The 2017 ride will start in the City of Dreaming Spires, as we set off from Oxford United on Wednesday, April 26 and travel to Reading from the Championship, and our old friends at Yeovil Town.

The ride will then turn all Premier League, as we visit Southampton and AFC Bournemouth on the south coast before completing the journey with the Devon trio of Exeter City, Torquay United and a triumphant homecoming for Argyle’s final home match of the season against Crewe Alexandra.

We are once again raising money for the Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer, as well as supporting the Argyle Community Trust and the Green Taverners’ good causes.

Entry for the Pedal 4 Pounds 2017 is £175, which covers all your accommodation and extra support throughout the adventure. Participants are required to raise a minimum of £500 in sponsorship and anyone raising over £1,000 will receive their entry fee back.
