St Austell Brewery Charitable Trust supports Project 35 with generous donation

Argyle Community Trust were delighted to welcome representatives from St Austell Brewery as special guests to Home Park to mark their Charitable Trust’s £3,500 donation for Project 35.

Project 35, in partnership with Ginsters, is our landmark social action initiative aimed at reducing poverty in Plymouth, Devon, and Cornwall through a comprehensive campaign of fund-raising, awareness raising, social outreach, food donations, education, and charity support.

The incredible donation will allow the project to continue to support vulnerable members of our communities and fund numerous brand new and exciting initiatives coming in 2024.

St Austell Brewery have been proud club partners of Plymouth Argyle for many years and presented the cheque to the Trust’s Chief Executive Officer Mark Lovell prior to Saturday’s EFL Championship match against Ipswich Town.

Mark said: “We are proud of our long-standing partnership with St Austell Brewery and can’t thank the Charitable Trust enough for their support for Project 35.”

Mark Stephens, St Austell Brewery’s head of regional sales and distribution, said: As Plymouth Argyle’s official beer sponsor, we’re delighted to support Argyle Community Trust with this donation from our own Charitable Trust.

“It’s important to us to do whatever we can to give back to our local communities across the South West, so we’re proud to be supporting the Project 35 initiative and helping to tackle poverty in the region.”

The St Austell Brewery Charitable Trust has been supporting local charities, good causes, and individuals in need across the South West, since its launch in 2003.
