Argyle Community Trust is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and well qualified tutor to deliver BTEC Sport at Post 16, based in Cornwall. This vacancy is open to newly qualified as well as experienced teachers.
About the role:
You will be working in a professional football club environment, utilising excellent sports facilities. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate outstanding teaching to our BTEC students who are studying at our post 16-19 Football & Education programme based at Carn Brea Leisure Centre. You are expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons in the classroom and also be responsible for assessing learners’ work in accordance with the awarding body guidelines.
As an employed member of staff at Argyle Community Trust you will be entitled to statutory holidays and full PAFC kit. You will be required to teach a maximum of 12 hours in addition to coaching on the programme. You will be expected attend regular meetings, be part of learner enrichment programmes as well as manage your own time efficiently to plan, prepare and assess.
