Argyle Community Trust’s Alice Young announced as 30 Under 30 winner

We are thrilled to announce that our very own Community Engagement Project Manager Alice Young has been chosen as one of the Devon ‘30 Under 30′ winners for 2023 for her outstanding contribution to the community.

The prestigious accolade, awarded by Devon & Plymouth Chamber in partnership with Babcock International Group, aims to discover and recognise individuals under 30 in Devon who have made a significant impact in the working world, in particular in the world of business, and those who have made positive contributions to the community and environment.

Alice’s incredible achievements stood out to the judges who were extremely impressed with everything she has achieved throughout an incredibly challenging time for business. Alice has worked for Argyle Community Trust for four years, and in that time has had a profound impact on the community and the lives of its people through projects like Premier League Kicks, supporting young people in some of the most high-need areas through targeted sport sessions, and our ground-breaking social impact project – Project 35, in partnership with Ginsters, which aims to tackle poverty in Devon and Cornwall.

A delighted Alice said: “In my role at Argyle Community Trust I’m lucky to work on programmes I am passionate about and are positively impacting our local community. Thank you to my colleagues who have guided and supported me through the first four years of my career!”

The 30 selected winners will be honoured during a glittering Chamber Awards ceremony at The New Continental Hotel in Plymouth, on Friday, 19 May.

Huge congratulations, Alice. Thoroughly deserved!
