ARGYLE Ladies dig deep to secure a fine win over Brislington.

The two sides were level at the break, with Dani Barr’s opening goal for the Pilgrims being cancelled out by a Kim Maggs leveller. It took four goals in the final 20 minutes – from Molly Taylor, Natasha Knapman, Ebony Dover and Katie Middleton – to pull away from a tiring Brislington side, and give the Pilgrims a fifth consecutive league win.

Argyle have a 100% record in the F.A. Women's Premier League South West Division One, and are just one point behind leaders Chichester, who have played one game more.

The Pilgrims’ next fixture is against Exeter City, at Cullompton, on Wednesday, October 5. Kick-off is at 7.30pm.

The reserves, meanwhile, recovered from defeat last weekend to sweep past Buckland reserves with a 7-0 victory.
