CONGRATULATIONS to Bow Jackson, winner of the Coach of the Year award in the recent ceremony at the University of St Mark and St John (Marjon).

Bow picked up the prize for her fantastic achievements with the Marjon Ladies first-team football squad this season, winning the annual Varsity match against University of Plymouth and also finishing runner-up in the British Universities and Colleges Western Division.

Bow also works as PL Girls Officer for Argyle Community Trust and has made an instant impression with her work in opening the game to females of all ages across the region.

Described as an ‘Inspirational and enthusiastic coach’ at the ceremony, it was particularly satisfying for Bow as the nominations came from the team.

“It was really pleasing and nice to be appreciated by the team,” said Bow. “I am humbled to be chosen as the winner, especially with some outstanding coaches also in line for the award.”
