A VERY special football match will be staged at the Goals Soccer Centre in Plymouth on Sunday afternoon from 11am to midday.

The match will see the Plymouth Diversity Police wearing visual impairment glasses they have kindly donated to the Campaign for Disability Awareness in a match against the Argyle Community Trust Junior Ability Counts team.

“This game is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the talent, enthusiasm and passion for the game shown by footballers with a disability,” said Josh Grant, Health and Disability Officer with Argyle Community Trust.

“Our aim is to open the doors of football to every corner of society and the success of our Ability Counts is a source of great pride for Plymouth Argyle Football Club. We are hopeful this game will raise awareness for people with disabilities in Plymouth.”
