CONGRATULATIONS to Bodmin Community College for winning the Girls Community Cup hosted by Argyle Community Trust.
Played in the superb facility at Goals Soccer Centre, it was an excellent competition, played in great spirit and with some real talent on display.
Bodmin Community College beat last year’s winners Lipson 2-0 in the final but all the teams from across Devon and Cornwall deserve great credit in our largest ever Girls Community Cup.
Argyle Community Trust Football Development Officer Jason Chapman said: “The Girls Community Cup was played with great spirit in a real community atmosphere, with all girls playing with a smile on their face and really enjoying the day.
“Credit must go to all players and teachers involved in making it such a fantastic day.”
