We are delighted to announce that entry is now open for the inaugural Argyle Community Trust ‘Green Army’ 5k Fun Run – Raising money for Project 35, our award-winning social impact project, in partnership with Ginsters, aimed at tackling poverty in the region.
The 5-kilometre (just over 3 mile) run will begin at Central Park Hub Plymouth on Saturday, 14 October and is open to everyone over the age of 18 of any running ability. Runners and families are encouraged to wear green – and are particularly encouraged to have loads of fun!
Additional activities and hot and cold refreshments will be available for family and friends at Central Park throughout the day, making this an event for everyone.
Runner registration begins from 10am at Central Park Hub, with the fun run starting at 11am. Every runner will receive a special t-shirt and medal at the finish line as a thank you, and to celebrate your achievement.
Entry is £10 per runner; we then ask that you raise a minimum of £35 in sponsorship with all money going to Project 35. Your sponsorship will directly fund meaningful community work in our local areas.
Spaces are limited to just 200 so don’t delay as spaces are already filling quickly!
You can sign up to the event now via the website https://officialsoccerschools.co.uk/argyle/green-army-5k-fun-run-at-central-park-hub-14th-october.html
