ARGYLE Community Trust is pleased to announce the opening of a new Progression Centre at Launceston Community College.

These weekly training sessions will be open to both club and non-club players, using the Plymouth Argyle coaching methodology for developing individual skills and match-play. The sessions will encourage creativity and use problem-solving to challenge player awareness.

Dates: Monday, November 2 – Monday, December 7
Times: 5.00pm – 6.00pm
Age Group: 4yr -14yr
Price per Block: £20 for six weeks

The Game Plan

• Warm-up and agility games

• Working through a structured Development Syllabus

• Improving the four cornerstones of Football: Technical, Physical, Social and Psychological.

• Small-sided matches

What to Bring?

• Football kit or tracksuit

• Shin pads (must be worn)

• Trainers / Astro Trainers

• Plenty to drink

All players will be considered for progression to Long Term Player Development Centres and Advanced Development Centres. These will be by invitation only. Each player will be monitored for the nearest Advanced Training Centre.

Coaches will concentrate on a particular theme each week, such as attacking skills and we will also incorporate small-sided games with conditions that reflect the weekly topic.

All sessions are delivered by Plymouth Argyle Community Trust Coaches, who are FA/UEFA qualified, Licensed, and hold up to date CRB/First Aid/Child Protection Certificates.
