ARGYLE had to dig deep against a resilient Millbrook side to record another win in the Peninsula League Division 1 West.
Callum Hall scored the only goal on 65 minutes with a terrific finish to cap his own fine individual performance but this was a day when the Pilgrims had to work extremely hard against dogged opposition.
“It was a great finish from Callum and I was really pleased with his display,” said Argyle Coach Kevin Nancekivell. “He looked bright and exciting, and deserved his goal.
“Millbrook were well organised and very difficult to break down. Their performance was very different to their League position, but it was a good lesson for our lads that you have to work hard in every single game of football.”
