PL KICKS AT PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

Kicks at Leicester CitySEVEN proud participants from the Plymouth Argyle PL Kicks programme travelled to Leicester this weekend to compete in the first annual ‘Samworth Brothers Cup’ competition against the current champions of England, Leicester City Football Club.

These lucky players were picked by Plymouth Argyle coaches as a reward for their consistent attendance and commitment to PL Kicks sessions.

The lucky seven arrived in Leicester, donned the famous Green shirts and competed in a fixture versus their Leicester equivalents. They showed a fantastic commitment to the cause and were unlucky to fall slightly short in terms of the scoreline.

At the end of the game, the young Foxes were presented with the Samworth Brothers Cup trophy and rightly applauded by all present.

Following the fixture, the Argyle coaches and players were escorted to the King Power Stadium and were lucky enough to watch Leicester entertain Manchester United in a Premier League fixture. All seven of the participants were ecstatic with the experience and a big day for PL Kicks in Plymouth.
