ARGYLE Community Trust is launching a new multi-sport opportunity to support Men’s Mental Health, starting on July 29th 2016. Open to all adult males, Argyle aims to engage men every Friday in trying a new, different sport.
The multi-sport programme ranges from Boxercise to table tennis to engage men struggling with mental health and provide an opportunity for them to try something new and encourage new friendships. From 2.45 – 4pm every Friday, the sessions will provide a new learning opportunity, as well as a chance to develop alongside others and create friendships in their own community.
The programme is delivered in partnership with Active Devon and Plymouth City Council. Active Devon is a network who promote a healthier and active lifestyle to many people across Devon, and work to encourage similar programmes elsewhere.
