On December 10, we held our second Project 35 takeover fixture of the season as Argyle took on Swansea City in the Sky Bet Championship.
This was the sixth dedicated Project 35 fixture since their introduction back in 2021 and the first since our exhilarating 3-2 win over Sunderland back in September.
Prior to matchday, we asked supporters to swing by our Project 35 Gazebo with non-perishable canned goods or donations to our ‘Let’s Can Poverty’ appeal.
Once again, the Green Army showed their generosity and willingness to help others in our local community.
We managed to raise a whopping £2,380, including £230 of online donations through our Just Giving Page, which has smashed our previous record intake!
A special thank you goes out to Rockfish Plymouth for an incredibly generous donation towards this record-breaking total.

Argyle Community Trust’s Programmes Manager Alice Young said:
“We have been overwhelmed by the incredible generosity and engagement of the Green Army, not just at this important time of the year, but in all our previous events.
“We are so grateful to have surpassed previous donation records, especially during a time when many people are facing food insecurity.
“Project 35 would not be possible without the unwavering support of partners Ginsters and the incredible hours their staff and our valued Pledge 35 volunteers put in.
“We hope you will continue supporting us in the battle against food poverty in Plymouth, Devon, and Cornwall.”
Your support towards Project 35 and the ‘Let’s Can Poverty’ appeal has been phenomenal. We cannot thank you enough and we hope you will continue to support us in our battle against food insecurity.
