ARGYLE Community Trust has begun the search for a new group of talented and enthusiastic footballers to join our education programme from September 2016.
In partnership with Ivybridge Community College, Argyle Community Trust runs a dedicated Football Scholarship for students going into Year 12 this September.
As well as benefiting from our talented group of coaches, you will work towards a BTEC Level 3 in Sports Development & Coaching, opening up opportunities to progress to University or full-time employment, and many of our former graduates are now currently working in professional football.
In December, we intend to visit a number of local football clubs across the region to deliver coaching sessions for players currently in Year 11, offering you a taste of the professional game with our UEFA-qualified coaches.
The sessions will be an opportunity for you to ask questions about the course and sample the coaching techniques we deploy as part of the Plymouth Argyle football ethos, as well as key information on open evenings and how to apply.
We are not looking to poach any players from local clubs and all players that join our course will be encouraged to continue playing for their current teams.
