ARGYLE Community Trust coaches are now on the ferry across to the Isles of Scilly for our annual pilgrimage to deliver a weekend of football to youngsters on the islands.
There are generally around 80 children attending the sessions delivered by our UEFA qualified coaches. It is always a fantastic event and we will be posting a gallery of pictures when our team arrive back in Plymouth next week.
The weekend starts with a CPD (Continuous Professional Development) event for coaches based on the island on Friday evening before embarking on two days filled with fun and football.
We have found the interest generated in Plymouth Argyle on the islands by these visits are a great benefit to the club and we’ve had schools travel over for our Match-Day Magic programmes at Home Park.
It is a wonderful opportunity to provide these young people with a chance to experience new coaches and spend their weekend playing football.
