Support the Green Army Wave this Sunday!

After months of preparation, we are excited that the Green Army Wave is now finally upon us!

This Sunday, runners from across the country will be participating in the South West’s biggest running festival around the city, raising much-needed money for charity.

Running 5k, 10k, or the half marathon, our Green Army Wave runners will be representing Argyle and raising money for Project 35, in partnership with Ginsters.

You will be able to identify our runners by their fresh Argyle-inspired running shirts, designed to ensure we have a ‘wave of green’ flowing across the city through the day’s races.

The event starts at 8:15am in Hoe Park, PL1 2PA, and there will be a multitude of stalls and activities for runners, friends and family, and members of the public to get involved with.

Our bright pink Project 35 gazebo will be open all day for donations, whether that be monetary or items of non-perishable food.

All donations will go towards our food larders, which in turn help us to continue our important work in the battle against food poverty in Plymouth.

We will also be running some of our match-day activities throughout the day!

Staff will be on hand to provide information about the day’s proceedings and the multitude of courses and activities the Trust provides across the calendar year.

Make sure you pop down on Sunday to have a fun day out with the family, showing your support to our Green Army Wave runners and Project 35!
