Are you a local business interested in giving back to your community?
Are you looking for affordable sponsorship opportunities that will make a lasting impact on the lives of local people?
Construction is well underway to transform the current sports centre at Brickfields into a thriving new Community Hub to make local people proud and improve health and wellbeing for generations, with the September 2024 opening drawing ever closer.
The Hub will provide access, support, and equipment to reduce health inequalities, promote wellbeing, and become a beacon for local community activity provision for generations, through a partnership between some of the leading sports and wellbeing brands in the city – Plymouth Argyle, Argyle Community Trust, Plymouth City Council, Plymouth Albion RFC, and Devonport Community Leisure Limited (DCLL).
Computer generated images have been released showcasing the incredible transformation taking place in some of the interior spaces. The impressive visuals show the inclusive gym and studio spaces, multi-use sports hall, community café, and Esports gaming suite.
These bespoke new community spaces provide unique opportunities for local businesses to get involved in this exciting journey. Importantly, it will help us deliver targeted health, wellbeing, and education to those most in need.
Plans are in place to continue our extensive offer of programmes, whilst expanding into areas such as after cancer care, injury rehabilitation, further disability sessions, support for armed forces veterans and minority communities, and affordable gym memberships to name a few.
Room sponsorship is available in different, affordable tiers, and come with a wealth of incentives for your business and employees. As well as helping us deliver health and wellbeing benefits to the city, you could also receive:
- Comprehensive branding in your chosen space
- Staff discounts
- Gym passes
- Business networking opportunities
- Access to Trust provisions
- Free and discount uses of facilities
- Free publicity through Argyle media
- and much more.
There are also opportunities to sponsor our highly visible showcase wall and steps within the Hub.
Trust Business and Impact Manager Dwain Morgan said: “As the official charity of Plymouth Argyle we utilise the prestige of football and reach of the Club to inspire, engage, and help people of all ages, genders, races, and socioeconomic statuses.
“As a charity, we rely heavily on the support of businesses, funders, and partners. The more sponsor support we receive, the greater our output, and the bigger the impact we can make on those that need it most.
“We are committed to our community, focusing our efforts on removing barriers to participation and offering opportunities that are accessible to all. We can’t wait to introduce this new facility and the many health and wellbeing benefits it will provide to the people of Plymouth.
We are extremely excited to work with local businesses, many of which already provide support for our charity outreach work through fundraising and volunteering. This really is an opportunity for you to create a legacy in your community and be part of Argyle in the most exciting period in our history.”
Mark Lovell, Chief Executive Officer at Argyle Community Trust said: “It has been a pleasure to bring partners of this exciting project together to witness and celebrate the progress made towards providing a community hub that local people will be proud of.
