Matt AndersonARGYLE Community Trust’s Upping Your Game project has now been running for six months, providing access to football for enthusiastic youngsters seeking an avenue into the game.

Delivered in partnership with William Sutton Memorial Hall in St Budeaux, the sessions are completely FREE and run every Monday (4-5pm) and Wednesday (4-6pm).  The Monday sessions focus on footballers aged 8-11 and Wednesdays are for those aged 12-19 years.

Each young person that turns up every week has the chance to play in our Football Tournaments and Bubble Football Day, and participants have the opportunity to gain accreditations, such as a FA Football Coaching Level 1, Sports Leaders UK and Sports Makers.

One example of the opportunities available is the story of Matt Anderson, who has progressed from the Upping Your Game sessions and is now working in Tamar View Youth Centre supporting young people and delivering a Street Games session on Plymouth Argyle's behalf, alongside Matt Buckley.  He is being put through his FA Level 1 qualification through us as well.
