Futsal Tour Day TwoIT was all about New York sightseeing on the second day of Argyle Community Trust’s tour of the USA, as the players and coaching staff headed to the famous Maddison Square Gardens for a look around the famous arena. (Stevie Wonder played there last night and the Nicks play today).

When we got outside, the noise, smell of food, crowds of people and just sheer size of the place was etched on everyone’s faces. We headed straight to the Empire State Building climbing up to the top floor to have unbelievable views of NYC and beyond – apparently we could see up to 80 miles.

Then we jumped on the hop-on hop-off Red Bus for a Guided Tour around the city before visiting The World Trade Centre Memorial, Broadway, Wall Street, Battery Park, Statue of Liberty, arriving at Times Square at dusk.

Here we had some free time shopping for a couple of hours and then had dinner at Applebees. Another hour of shopping etc followed before returning to Maddison Square Gardens to catch the train home at 11pm.
