PLYMOUTH Argyle Ladies reserve team were once again in ruthless mood, as they defeated the University of Exeter 16-1 Devon League Premier Division.
Katelyn McKane started the barrage with an opener on 10 minutes and this was swiftly followed by a clever lob from Gabi Alphous. A penalty from Alex Hugh made it 3-0 on the half-hour and the floodgates then opened.
New signing Lucy Rothero hitting the target and a hat-trick from Lennon Lewis were the highlights of a fantastic performance, but manager Rob Bonney is always looking for more from his team. “It’s all about the team performance and we know there is still room for improvement.”
