AFTER a terrific season in terms of performance, participation and potential, the Plymouth Argyle Ability Counts programme has received one final proud accolade.

Our first-team have been given the Respect Award by the Devon FA and a fantastic achievement for the players and coaches to be recognised for their conduct on the pitch.

“Football is so often measured by results on the pitch and participation, both of which are, of course, very important,” said Argyle Ability Counts Coach Mickey McCloskey.

“However, it is particularly pleasing for the club to be recognised for the respect we show to our team-mates, opponents and officials. I congratulate all those involved and we are already looking forward to next season with enthusiasm and excitement.”
