“We see the impact that community support has every day, and this event perfectly captures that spirit, by bringing people together, getting people out of their comfort zones, and raising vital funds for two important causes that mean so much to the people of Plymouth.

“We’re grateful to everyone who signs up, donates, or supports the event. Together with St Luke’s Hospice, we’re proud to offer this opportunity that is as exciting as it is meaningful, and we can’t wait to see participants take that brave step over the edge.”

Sarah Wallis, Partnerships Manager at St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth, added: “We are incredibly grateful to Argyle Community Trust for their support of this bold and unforgettable challenge.

“This abseil offers something a little different for those looking to take on a daring experience in support of local hospice care and Project 35. Every person who takes part will be helping us be there for hospice families at one of the hardest times in their lives, providing care, comfort, and dignity when it matters most.
