Richard Luscombe THE Football Education squad have endured a hectic week in the National Youth League and it all started in spectacular fashion on the main pitch at Home Park.
Far from overawed by their surroundings, the Pilgrims cruised to an extraordinary 9-2 win over Watford, with Morgan Parsonage bagging an impressive five goals in the game.
The schedule swiftly moved on to another home game against Bournemouth on Wednesday and another three points, as goals from Parsonage and Travis Skerton steered us to a 2-1 victory.
Fatigue was probably a factor the very next day, as a bright start that yielded a two-goal lead with a double from Euan Morgan came to an abrupt end with Watford gaining a modicum of revenge for their heavy defeat the previous week by recovering to win 3-2.
